I was playing with Milly on Sunday when I found a lump a bit bigger than a 5p peice on her neck. I rang the PDSA first thing Monday and got her in Tuesday morning. She had her neck shaved and a couple of needles in to see if any puss came out none did so she has some antibiotics to take for a week. I have to take her back next week and If it has not gone down she will have to have surgery.

Worrying or what. I will let you all know what happens next Tuesday.

How old is she? My collie got a lump in that area when he got old, but the vet did a little biopsy with a needle and said it was just a fatty lump, nothing to worry about. Fingers crossed that it all works out fine for you and Milly. :luck:

got everything crossed for millie, a word of encoragement for u. my dog dana has a similar sized lump ( on her left hind quarter ) and its just somthing that has come with age. try not to stress too much chances are its nothing serious hun
