Hi - there are a pair of mini daxies in a rescue in Lincolnshire: Keith's Rescue in Skegness. They only rehome in Lincs, won't rehome after the 12th Dec until early Jan and carry out careful homechecks. Bitch and a dog, red and what looks like a dapple.

I'm a whippet woman myself (!) with 3 already, otherwise we would have adopted them. The daxie rescue group know about them, but they don't have anyone in Lincs wanting 2 at the moment. The lady there says Keith's rescue is really good and very careful to place the right dog with the right owner, after a lot of careful checks. Dogs welfare at its heart - they can only rehome locally because it's run by one very dedicated self-funding man.

Hope one of you out there knows some one who wants two cute bundles - they need a forever sofa!

Here's a link to the rescue's website in case anyone is interested. So many lovely dogs on there :(

frazzyb - are you connected with the rescue? I just wondered if they advertise their dogs on any of the rescue sites like Dogsblog or Dogpages? I bet they'd get some interest from those sites in these two cuties.

Thanks for doing the link Fee-Fee - i'm a bit technically challenged  I'm not connected to the site, but I called the valerie Skinner, Northern rep of daxie rescue, and she had had some contact with them. He's a lovely man, with an assistant on site apparently. Valerie suggested they link with her, and widened the range of potential new owners, but she got the feeling he felt he had to draw the line somewhere and was doing everything he could with the resources he had.

Understandable, I guess. He's obviously very committed - he's got a lot of dogs on there that all look in fantastic condition.

Hope some one out there takes them soon - they don't deserve to be in kennels over the winter, even a heated one. Chilly toes!
