Hi,

we,ve got a gorgeous 6 month old little girl Millie who despite all the advice to the contrary is brilliant with our 3 year old and a delight in every way.

She is a pure teckel and comes from a working mum and dad.

Given any oportunity she will climb up onto my shoulders and go around and around my head and neck.

I'd love someome to tell me why.

This is a VERY dachsie move from my experience!! :wub: . My breed growing up was miniature smooth Dachshunds (I now have whippets) I spent much time watching TV with a neck-warmer.

And I'm not sure who's advice said they weren't good with kids. They're GREAT family dogs!
