We have recently had our first family dog, a male miniature poodle called Percy. We have had him 3 weeks, he is now just over 11 weeks old.
He is doing well with lots of obedience training, generally he is only obedient when there is a treat. He has learnt to sit, lie down, even high five with his paw. He will stay and leave food in the palm of your hand until he is told ok.
He has just started going from 11pm till 630am in his crate.
Still lots to work on though, he is very bitey and gets regular zoomies. Also, he picks up lots of things in his mouth, stones and barks, generally we are able to remove them before he swallows them. He has also still to go a day without seeing on the floor.
I am looking forward to Friday, when he can go on his first walk.

Welcome to the forum - Percy sounds like a bright lad!

Thank you Judy.
He really is a delightful chap.
We are very fortunate that as a family, our circumstances mean at least one of us is available most of the time to spend time with him.

hello and welcome. He is doing astonishingly well for such a young age. Poodles are so bright.
