WELL DONE COLT BARSTORM, AND TO STORMS OTHER WEE BUCKOS....U'LL NEED TO BE CAREFUL NOW JOHN AS ALL THE JEALOUS PLONKERS WILL START THE WHISPERING BEHIND YOUR BACK....I MUST SAY THAT COLT LOOKED IN SUPERB CONDITION WHEN I SAY HIM ON SUNDAY.ONE GUY ASKED ME WHY I WASN'T RACING MADDY ANYMORE, AND WHEN I TOLD HIM ABOUT HER INJURIES HIS ANSWER WAS A RATHER SARCASTIC "COS SHE HAS TOO MUCH GREYHOUND"...HAD TO BITE MY TONGUE AND JUST SMILE...THEIR NAME WILL REMAIN ANONYMOUS BUT THEY HAVE NEVER LIKED RACEY LOOKING DOGS.

ROSE, I WILL BRING THAT KICKBOARD TO SHANES CASTLE FOR YOU.

HEY DARREN !

THEY CAN ALL WAIT AT THE FINISH LINE IF THEY WANT A "SNIPING-MATCH" ILL PROBABLY HAVE A FEW SPARE SECONDS TO ERMMMMM..CHAT :- " :- "

ITS HORSES FOR COURSES AINT IT..PERSONALLY I DISLIKE SQUARE-HEADED LURCHER CROSSES BUT I DONT PRATTLE IN ANYONES EAR ABOUT IT.

SIGHT-HOUND-LURCHERS ARE DESIGNED AS A NARROW RUNNING MACHINE..THATS MY CHOICE AND YOUR CHOICE TOO MATE..SO BE IT! WHY ANYONE WANTS TO PUT PIT OR ANY OTHER MUTT INTO THESE DOGS AND RUIN THE PHYSIQUE AND SPEED IS BEYOND ME

Well done again John, but i still think you were mad running colt on that ground. Siva was bursting out of herself to get a run but i wouldn't chance it, still she got a 1st in the lamping class, 2nd in the smooth over 23", and then got to the last 4 in best of show. You can't blame the organisers for the weather, but there was a shocking delay to the start of the showing. Roll on Shanes Castle. it was funny to see all those psuedo 4x4s getting towed out of the field by the tactors

Is anybody going to Annaghmore this weekend and is it worth the trip?

:luck: :luck: gd luck 4 nxt tyme :luck: :luck:

hey streaky, i shud make it to the show at annaghmore but prob wont be there for the racing as i have to go back for work, but i went last year and it was a good show and good turnout, the race was about 150 yrds with a jump in the middle of it! and i only live like a 15 min drive from it so its handy for me!lol :teehee: :D

Rose :)

eamon

you could say i took a "calculated risk". i spent 20 mins walking up and down the line i was gonna send colt down, tramping any obvious dangers into the ground. so..now you know how to reduce the danger factor...walk the line!

have to admit tho i was sooo relieved when colt came back up to me undamaged and i dont think id run on anything similar again :sweating: :sweating:

KIRSTY...YOUR FOR OVER STORMYS KNEE LOVE............ :- "

I WAS PREPARING THE GROUND FOR THE "BRINDLE EXPRESS" ! :D

u were mad even to run da "brindle express" lol! but at least he didnt get hurt! dats da main thing like! ys dat then john? well all i can say is bring it on! coz it seems like ur just all chat! lol :D

john as i said to u at annaghmore if i was you with the calibre of racing lurchers u keep i would not have ran them on that ground at a artificial lure, in fact i doubt i would have even slipped a dog on that ground at live quarry. as for square headed lurchers well only half the job for mine is the catching the killing is just as important and a set of crushing jaws is a good advantage. i look forward to seeing colt run at shanes its a great course. the ground was one thing what bothered me more was to see a muzzled dog getting nailed by an unmuszzled one. should be all muzzled or not at all.i got my picture taken too i was in the newsletter no trophys but.
