I wasnt sure the best place to post this, hope this is right?

Hello, my dog gets fed on whole rabbit chicken frames etc i also use raw miced meat blocks for variation and i cant allways get the above, but looking at the typical analysis the moisture content seems very high. going by this link

http://www.albionmeatproducts.co.uk/products/standard.html

the premium tripe for example has 76g moisture in a 100g block, i understand meat will contain moisture naturally and what is moisture? is it water? 76% of it is water?

How much moisture would you expect naturally?

It also says "Free From Artificial Colourings, Fillers, Preservatives, Additives or Cereals." would water be a filler or an additive?

Do people reckon water has been added to this product to bulk it up? and if so how much?

Cheers for any help on this.

Neil

I have since googled this (which i should have before i asked) and that moisture content is quite normal. Naturally occuring in meat.

Sorry to have wasted anyones time :))
