THE owner of a hellhole farm where 84 horses and donkeys were rescued mowed down terrified animals for fun in his 4x4, locals claimed last night.
Jamie Gray is said to have smirked as he appeared to chase the starving creatures in his blue Mitsubishi Shogun.
Dozens of other pitiful horses were left with terrible leg injuries after Gray smashed into them on a QUAD BIKE, neighbours claimed.
The horrors emerged as the animals saved were resettled at charitable safe havens. Many will be able to remain there for life.
Among them are a bedraggled donkey and her two-month-old foal who have been taken to Redwings horse sanctuary in Hapton, Norfolk. Staff have named the youngster Esther.
The pair were found in the most appalling conditions along with horses and ponies at meat trader Gray’s Spindles Farm – dubbed Hell Farm by locals – in the Buckinghamshire village of Hyde Heath.
The scenes of cruelty were unbelievable – the farm has been described as an equine concentration camp.
Many of the animals were underweight, had matted hair and were suffering ringworm and lice.
Around THIRTY were found dead.
