 Stupid me! Millie came over to see His Little Fatness  and we took some of our dogs for a walk in 'my' fields leaving a couple at home with OH watching the Rugby. :)

We got back to find no sign of OH :( , TV blaring , my 'nik-nak' box and its contents strewn across the kitchen floor  with a trail leading into the sitting room where we found ......................................................

the empty packets of:

Two Panacur Favourites for Dogs x 4 (so 8 tablets)

I bag of Fox's Glacier Darks (Licorice & Aniseed flavour) + all the wrappers

1 bag of Nutty Crunch stuff (only bought yesterday so only a couple of bits were missing)

the Panacur Favourites for Cats had been examined but not opened at that stage, the same with the Drontal puppy liquid and the 20 Drontal Plus tablets were totally untampered with!!!

and TJ with a look on his face so much as to say "And SO????" :- " :b

Sophie was looking guilty, although I don't think she had a paw in it o:) , and Dante & Coco curled up on various chairs thinking "Nothing to do with me", which they wouldn't have :* !!!

Just waiting for the aftermath now!!!

I think the most worrying aspect of this post is that someone can keep this massive diverse mixture of stuff in a 'NIK NAK' box (w00t)

Dont ever stay at Dessies if you are a bit hard of seeing 8) she may offer you something from her magic box and you may never leave the loo again :x

Hope the dogs are ok thou

LOL ........ I had a couple of cups of tea there today (w00t) :nuke: (w00t)

sorry but that did make me first go  then   i to hope the dogs are ok.

charlie hasnt stolen anything since the joint of beef o:) but new puppy lily is living up to her name and has eaten some of the lily's i had on the dinningroom table, very strang what they eat/chew sometimes

Nowt as queer as whippets. Try to give them a worming tab out of your hand nicely wrapped in best cheddar and it's spit right back on the floor minus the cheese. Let them think they've nicked it and its swallowed with gusto.

Next worming is going to be so easy

I bet TJ is going to regret that on the way out

Well just be grateful TJ can read ......

the Panacur Favourites for Cats had been examined but not opened at that stage, the same with the Drontal puppy liquid and the 20 Drontal Plus tablets were totally untampered with!!!
......

See lucky or what, he's wormed himself JUST for you, and realised that he wasn't a cat OR a puppy, and that the Drontal plus tablets really wern't ness as he was sorted after the 8 Panacure favorites  .....That's 1 clever boy :D ........

But he wasn't clever enough to work out the correct dose, unless he thinks he's huge............... but he got the "Take with food bit", hence the two bags of sweets LOL

How is he today Caroline ?

OMG.......... has the aftermath arrived then yet????? (w00t)

No, please let me qualify things!! Only the bags of sweets were sitting in the top of the Nik Nak box which was obviously too near the edge of the work surface and I forgot to add to the 'empty packet' list Nature's Menu meaty treats!! In future bags of sweets will temporarily be put in the fruit basket, which is at the BACK of another work surface!!

The wormers were in the Vet-Medic carrier bag that Millie had brought round after very kindly buying them for me as they were all on special at Crufts. But, silly me, had just plonked the bag there instead of putting them away straight off in the dog stuff cupboard in the Utility Room!

Well, amazingly, he is not too bad!!! He must have the constitution of an ox! Unfortunately, there was a very liquid poo on the kitchen floor when I got up at 6.30 but I, again, blame OH for that because he got up about 4.00ish to go to Crufts and quite obviously did not let the dogs out. However, he (TJ not OH!) did nothing else until we went out for a walk about 9.45 by which time it was the constituency of soft ice cream, a very fetching shade of taupe, with peanuts interspersed through it!!! He is very lively (for him) and absolutely RAVENOUS (more so than normal) and I should think one thing is for sure .................................

He hasn't got worms!!!! LOL!

Now Melanie, I dont want to scare you but Lillies are fatal if eaten or even touched by CATS. I dont know about how safe they are for dogs, perhaps someone else does, but I wont have them in the house now just in case.

I think you will find it is only the pollen

No any part very toxic (cats) even if brushed against and licked off the coat (as in pollen) This is probably how most are poisoned but petals and leaves also.

Update on the Frogdog ............................ didn't do anything else after his walk this morning until he went out after his supper and did a completely normal poo.
