WELL DONE top dog (so far)

Well done June who got the Bitch with RCh Serena and Suggeted RCh Cousin Jack for the Dogs

Cousin Jack's ped name is Jolly Nippy

Jolly from his dad who is top of the list (at the moment) and Nippy from Nippy Girl his mum who is near the top of the bitch list.

The clue was in the peddie name of your suggestion - June

I'll let you all get a couple of nights sleep before I ask another question about our sport's history

Hope it was not too testing

Good luck :luck: with running your your Whippets - I guess you will find a lot of those mentioned in their pedigrees.

Rob... ;)

Thats been fun as well as bringing back memories of people and dogs who used to race but dont now. We've been remembering dogs that our dogs could never beat like Ear t' the ground and Nose t' the ground. In fact we won a maiden with our first racing bred dog, but it was almost 10 years before we won a main final! Happy memories of those days

It has been very interesting reading this thread. I remember Sea Pigeon very well, Margaret Baker was a friend of mine, it's a long time ago now but I can still see her at some of the Whippet Club shows.

Best I saw was Trisha Billinghams RCh Silver Stream. Awesome and the ones the Besaps couldn`t beat !

Would love to see dogs once they have `proved` themselves the best in a weight group, move on up to the next group a bit like the boxers, now that would find you the best !
