Poor Badger just returned from the vets after an operation to have an eye removed poor lil luv. He was fine one day the next his eye was bulging and bleeding so off to the vets and it was decided to have the eye removed. We have just collected him and he seems fine eating and drinking doesn't seem at all phased. Antibiotics sent home for him in syringe ready to administer daily so fingers crossed he'll be fine. Only problem is Kim having problems with the fact that he was bought for i think £6.00 and its already cost £70.00 and he has to return on Tuesday to have stitches sorted :- " But mum said 'NO' on day one and i'm sure some of you will be proud of me i said 'NO' to vet bill too - Kim he's your baby :)) but i do admit to having a soft spot for him now

Another pic on day of op - poor Badger :(

What a lovely story that would make for Bobby and Izzy though eh?

One Eyed Badger's Adventures....

Hope Badger feels better soon ...you never know you may need to put him in training for the micro race :- "

 Nice one - i'll start his training as soon as his stitches are out :D

I know someone who is looking for a home for felicity, a rather cute parti rat   perhaps it might take badgers mind off his eye  (w00t)

I'm sure it possibly would Chris but unfortunately he has to rest be allowed no stress and we have to try not to let him get too excited, not sure with a pretty Felicity with him he would stick to the rules ;)

Nice thought tho thank you - but sorry once again mum says 'No' and means it :D and i am now going to delete this thread so Kim don't see it and think what a good idea of cheering up little Badger  NO MORE RATS :teehee:

No Dee not another for the 'micro' class either :- "

 Poor Badge he's lovely ;) he can do that too now ;) bless him :)

Have got 13 ferrets who would be up for a race too (w00t) They might need some long tubes to run up and down in tho, to keep them from the bunny holes :- " They have ferret racing at game fairs, so why not at opens where there are lurchers :teehee: Could be good for a bet :clown:

Just thought i would put a little tribute to Badger on, as after his recent op he unfortunately took a turn for the worse and Kim had to have him PTS today.

I am absolutely petrified of rats (despite having a hamster), but by all accounts Badge was about as good as they come, and i know he was Kim's baby so will be very sorely missed.

RIP Badger
