Handsome Murphy is a 5 year old Hancock dog ( 5/8 x 3/8 collie x Greyhound) and is rough coated grey brindle and white. He's quite a long dog, about 26-27ins TTS. He's come from a family home, but lived out as he was a working dog. We're working on housetraining at the moment as he's in The Office!

He's fine with other dogs as long as they don't try to hassle him, good with kids, travels well but is NOT cat friendly.

Murphy has been quite noisy since he's been with us, which we're putting down to the stress of being uprooted (he is calming down now) but because of this, we feel he'd be better in a home where someone's around most of the time. He enjoys people's company!

Murphy is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Murphy is currently in W Yorks. If you'd like to know more about him, email: kaye@lurcherlink.org

Murphy is still waiting...... He has graduated from kennels to the house, and this is what Kaye at Lurcher Link says

"He's a very "people" dog and really enjoys human company - I think once he has an owner, he'll be an incredibly loyal companion"

crikey no! He hasn't been waiting since september, thats ridiculous. Such a handsome chap.

I played the lottery twice a few weekends ago, to try and get a house for that lovely greyhound, but not a bean... One day i'll have enough room for a big'un... :)

good luck murphy-dog, x

Murphy has a 'reserved' sticker firmly on his handsome rear....

He'll be going to Scotland in a few weeks.... for many adventures. His new owner has promised to start a blog on Lurcher Link - would be worth watching out for!

Thanks to everyone who's been interested!
