Sorry I can't say if they are poisonous or not, but Ruby is always after mushrooms and toadstools in my garden too. It is worrying but as she doesn't go out alone yet we are okay so far.

Sorry don't know if they are or not :- "

I know that one of our Iggy's at some toadstools that came up in our lawn last yr and it made him high as a kite , vet consulted of course.

Now we are careful to walk over the lawn and pull all these fungi up :- "

Can you identify mushrooms/toadstools, Sharon? There are all sorts in my garden because there are so many dead/dying trees as it is an old garden. I think I'll have to do a mushroom topic. :)

when my dad saw Bliss ( well after he had stopped laughing at her ) he said one of his dogs came out in hives after it had antibiotics , has tia had anything else ??

also diffrent things affect diffrent dogs so it could well be the mushrooms

no im no expert on mushrooms im afraid , i just spent hours googling for pictures of mushrooms and there effects :sweating:

:( ooo god no ,shes got them hives again im at a loss as to what is causing it ,im guna try feeding somthing different tomoz and if that dont work il keep her on lead out the yard see if i can elimanate the cause in the last hour she been out the back and been fed so it has to be one or other :(

Nicky Im sorry about Tia, Ive only just seen it just now about her face. :(

As for the mushrooms, Ive had my fungi book out...and as your photo is not that clear, I would say looking at them they could br Fawn Pluteus mushrooms..which can be eaten but are of poor quality so shouldnt hurt Tia.

but as I said its very hard to tell which one it is from your photo.

What colour is the cap...is it green or beige/fawn coloured??

There are other species that are not poisonous but may cause an allergic reaction, for instance a Blewitt..which can be eaten but can have allergic reactions if eaten raw.
