My Bantam Has Hatched...

They are just sssooooooo gorgeous, they are Mallards abandoned eggs as she laid them in middle of Garden centre then when it got busy couldnt get to sit them so she went and laid elsewhere. I had a broody bantam so she hatched 5 scrumptious babies

It was so funny when I put the huge eggs under her, her little legs were sticking out the side

She is so good and tucks them under her, I am letting them have their first taste of duckweed in water, they went mad and leapt in with delight, dont think Mum was impressed

Only if he roosts in trees ! Thats where mine roost to keep away from the fox Jan

I love ducklings, shame they turn into ducks, I am terrified of them!!
