Towy my old girl is wobbling like anything, took her to the vets this morning and he has given her some anti inflamms and pain killers, noticed her doing it a few days ago but put it down to heat stroke and her doing to much, seemed to go but really bad this morning, none of the others are doing this. She is a really fit 12 year old who even the other day jumped the 7foot fence to wander but cant even walk up the steps today.

Any advice please, vet thought neurological or disc

Be guided by your vet and keep her cool and rested. Hope all goes well with her, heat can affect them quite badly. :luck:

hopefully it isnt serious ,if she'd jumped a 7 ft fence the other day maybe shes hurt her back..maybe get this checked out,the anti flams/painkillers will diguise the pain

ive had a whippet with a spinal injury..if so get this sort of injury seen to asap

Foxy is 13 and wobbles a lot. She cannot stand on 3 legs nowadays either. Aparently the vertebrae in her neck are crumbling which puts presssure on her spinal cord. She has been on low dose steroids for over a year and these do help improve her quality of life as she seems pain free. Perhaps your whippie has hurt her neck or back. Mine do get a bit wobbly if they sunbathe for too long and but it only takes them a short while to recover. Sounds like something other than heatstroke
