Well here is a selection of the 700 photo's I took while staying with frioends in Michigan!

I've never travelled before and never been away from home as long as 15 days before either - but I loved every minute of it!

Here's the aeroplane and one of them billions of squirrels around the place!

More of Nige - I wish Blue could have come - she'd have loved the beaches and no stickiness from the salt water as its a lake...

and a butterfly!

Told you this was going to go on and on..........

Some of the many sculptures...this one looked like an innocent bike ride until you realised they were all flashing or naked!!!

I did - it really opened my eyes to travel - having never being interested in the past. The best part of the holiday was spending time with Tracy as I really miss her, she lived in our village for 3 years.

oohh sounds like you have got the bug clair..........where next??

France in August! But that's more in a carers role to a little boy with Autism and Cerebral Palsy - but still it will be fun!

Would love to do Texas

Well done...glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for posting your pics. I love the terrier pics. He reminds me of Stan. :p It's refreshing and stimulating going somewhere completely different to where you're used to isn't it?

Thanks for sharing your pics Clair. I really enjoyed seeing them. I am pleased you had such a good time. I think the nicest way to visit other countries is to stay with people in their own home. You really get a feel for the lifestyle, don't you? I bet you'll be visiting your friends again. :D

Great photos and looks like you had a brilliant time. I've been to Texas and North America - great country

I used to travel a lot but not recently because of not wanting to leave the dogs. But I did go to Australia last year which was fantastic. I'm itching to see Italy now... when the time is right
