Ive found you never 'get over it' but as time goes on you learn to deal with it better , as they say..time is a great healer and thats very true.

Thinking of you at this awful time :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

I am so sorry you've lost your Mum, Tina

Thinking of you and sending :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Those we love remain with us

For love itself lives on,

And cherished memories never fade

Because a loved one's gone.

Those we love can never be

More than a thought apart,

For as long as there is memory,

They'll live on in the heart

So sorry to hear about your mum :( you have said some beautiful things about her which shows what a lovely person she was and that is what you will remember her for.

Thinking of you and sending you lots of :huggles:

A loss like this is so difficult come to terms with,

hopefully you will have plenty of support around you.

Take your time and take care of yourself.

I know it might seem like a strange thing to do, but after a while you do tend to think of the folk on here as your friends and I need to put in words how Im feeling right now. DEVASTATED is the only word I can think of..... my lovely little old mum passed away this morning at 6.30am. She was very frail after years of looking after my dad who had been very ill for about 8 years and who we sadly lost last year. We thought now would be my mums time for a bit of TLC and a bit of freedom (she wouldnt leave my dad) to get out and about but since dad died she has been housebound with her own health problems.  Last week she picked up alot and said she had never felt better and even visited old friends (with help of course). On Tuesday she had a pub lunch with her neighbour but complained of a headache so she brought her home. By the next day my mum had suffered a massive stroke and yesterday the doctors told us there was little hope.My mum gave everything she had for others - her house was always full of visitors, friends, relations, their children, their childrens friends the list goes on.....

she cared for and loved them all.

Thankyou for letting me share this with you - I just want folk to know how special she was.  I was honoured to have her for my mum. R.I.P

Tina :(

:huggles: really sorry to hear of your loss. :huggles:

Mother you were the nicest, you were always there for me

You sung me nursery rhymes as you bounced me on your knee

You did everything that you could for me then left me on my own

The angels wanted you with them so they came and took you home

No one could ask more from their mum than what you did for me

Every day you gave me time, our closeness all could see

You cuddled and cherished me as a mother always does

Supported me in everything and often gave me a shove

You wiped my tears when I cried and laughed at all my ways

I reminded you of you when you were in your youthful days

I know I tried you with my moments as every child does

When life can get too much to bear in all the tear and rush

But you were there for me whenever I needed you

Sadly I never told you just how much I loved you too

And now it is too late, for your arms I can no longer feel

I should have told you when I could that my love for you was real.

very sad :( at least she got to see friends and enjoy herself recently, spend time with those she loved. i'm ever so sorry for your loss. take comfort in that your parents are together again :luck:

So very sorry for your sad loss. Your mum sounds like she was a very special lady.

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumn rain

When you waken in the morning hush

I am the uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight

I am the soft stars that shine at night

Do not stand at my grave and cry

I am not there I did not die

Thinking of you and the family. Just be pleased your mom had some really nice days at the end to spend with her friends.

Oh Tina I'm so sorry! :(

Thinking of you at this sad time :huggles: Hold on to the happy memories you had together, they'll hurt now but they'll give you warmth and fondness in time.

Take care :huggles:
