I'll leave it up to Sarah to explain why but David (which means beloved) is a name with special meaning for her and Bob in the context of these puppies. It is a name that occurs the world over in numerous variant forms. Maybe you could consider a celtic version of David such as Dai, or even Taff/Taffy, or another diminutive of the name such as Davo/Davon, or (my favourites) Tab, or Taber/Tabor. Just a thought :)

If you pm me your email addy I have a few more pictures of him I can forward to you

He is one very special little man  and you are a very lucky person. Wishing you every joy with him :)

He is adorable

I like Dave / David as a name I have to say.

If you want to stick with the beloved idea:

JEDDIAH (Jed for short) means beloved of the Lord. I am not very religious but someone up there has been keeping an eye on this litter.

It is so lovely to see the pictures and hear how well Lola's pups are doing.

We have decided that David will be named Dai. This i think is a popular and appropriate name.
