Well, we went to the vets today about a lump that's rapidly appeared on the point of Ed's right shoulder.
When it appeared it was soft and didn't feel attached, but two days later (yesterday) it was harder and was tender to the touch so I took him in today. The bad news is it's almost certainly a tumour, and aggressively growing. Doesn't mean it's malignant of course, we'll need to wait for the histology to find that out. :ermm:
So, I'm going in with him Thursday morning and staying till he's out and ready for the op. Fingers, toes and paws firmly crossed for my old lad please everybody if you wouldn't mind? :flowers:
While he's under, provided all's well, he's having a dental, as he's got one tooth that's a little manky looking and they all need a good clean at the back. They're better than they were (thanks to those lamb ribs! ) but whereas we wouldn't put him out for just that, whilst he's there..... :- "
