the law is far too lenient on animal abuse and unfortunately therefore not much of a deterrent for offenders :(

i hope you are able to rescue Rolo from this miserable person soon.

has the RSPCA taken the poor bitches into custody? :(

Could you get someone to ring and say they want to use him at stud? You would be able to find out where he is maybe? :luck:

That's a brilliant idea-

Got to be worth a go.

have you got a photo of Rolo and address of this horrible man? I live in Liverpool and could look out for him, what disgusting people they must be

There are some horrible people out there, however careful one is in checking puppy buyers there is always a risk, I know of two people who check out their potential puppy buyers really well but have been caught out recently, two of them who sounded really genuine were found to have advertised the puppies for sale the following week, asking a higher price than they paid for them. One of them had even bought two out of a litter " because they could not choose which one to take", fortunately these two were purchased by a really concerned person who has contacted the breeder and all has turned out well, they have a super home with him now.

 that's a horrible story

I do so hope you get Rolo back soon. Yes, incidents like that can put you off breeding. Because we love our dogs so much, we think everybody else does. I think the idea of wanting to use him at stud is brilliant, or maybe a casual phone call to see if he's got any older stock to sell? I'm sure Rolo will come back safe and sound, but it may take some devious ideas to sort it. I know what I'd like to do to that man! But rest assured you've done everything you can to put this situation right. Chin up.
