Took the dogs for a nice walk the other day,as wee had some brilliant sunshine, for a bit.Training will have to start soon. But 1st they need the cobwebs blown away. With a bit of free galloping, and some roadwork.Which has been sorely missed of late.Have now taken them off their low maintenence winter diet, and started building up their carbohydrates. Before lure work starts right.Shadow is now about 18 months old,and had her 1st ever run at a lure the other day.At 12 months. She got a look at it,from the end of a lead. But was in no way interested.Seems it was once again, worth the wait.As she seems pretty keen, now, and ran well. The one run was enuff to tell me,she will at least, race. As i was getting worried. This is she.

SHADOW.22 n 1/2 inches.

Seems we just might have a decent wee show bitch now too. This is the mother of my bullx pups.Who are now 4 months old.I,at least.Think she's one hell of a nice wee bitch, and works pretty well too. When given the chance. For the moment though. She is a house dog,and can be found stretched out on the sofa.24/7.Her and Sheena, are bestest mates. This is she.

Some lovely dogs there Billy. With the amount of litters you're bred over the past fews years and the dogs you've brought in surely there must be one racing champion amongst them, if not, maybe its about time to keep gerbils lol :teehee: :teehee:

Ha.Where did you blow in from.Have 9 all ireland titles to me credit now boy,and only 2 of them wer'nt me own breedin. But i did rear Reni from a wee pup.Which must hold, for some of the success.Yes,ive some classy looking pups at the moment. But only time will tell.See,im back in the buisiness of trying to do it from me own back yard again. Can take a few efforts, before the right lines click. But when they do.Its the best feelin in the world.Well,nearly,anyhow,lol.Am i right in thinkin, that ure gettin back in the running, boy. Not many folk wantin ta know about lure machine's,unless they need one, haha. Will put a wee pick of my simple little thing on for you. When i get a chance,Darren.Have just been re wiring it tonight there, and trying to work out how to wire a stupid cellinoid swith to it.As i cant afford a half dozen swithes this year.Hows it goin, anyhow boy.Give us a ring on me mobile some time. Will pm you,the number.

Definitely not getting another lurcher to race. I have a access to a workshop at the minute so i thought i would give making a lure a go if i get the time. I remember wiring the solenoid up to my last lure and even after speaking to a technician we wired it up wrong but thankfully no damage was done. I think from memory it won't kick in until its wired up right as its only some type of switch. Must admit i do like the mating of Hellbound to Orvils greyhound bitch, Dottie.

Actualy had one of them booked. Before i bred my own tara bitch,to Pyper.I here great reports about them.

Lovely photo's of lovely dogs.

Good Luck this year. :luck: :luck:

Thanks for all the possitive coments folks. We do our best down in my humble abode, and it's nice, when things start looking up again.Training cant get underway though. As the dreaded white stuff, and the minus 5 shit, has returned, with a vengence, once again.Cant even walk the flippin roads. So it will be treadmill's for a few days.If they can remember what the thing is,and put one foot,in front of the other, for 15 minutes, lol
