This happened last week. It's better related by voice but I'll do my best to portray the events so you get a good mental picture of it.

Because of my health, I have to exercise my dogs on a treadmill, and I usually do it in the mornings before I go to work. Last Wed I had put Frankie on the machine and walked back into the kitchen to carry on doing whatever it is I do. I could hear the machine noise, but instead of the steady drone (say out loud zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) it was going (say out loud zzzzzzzzzzzzzz bump zzzzzzzzzzzz bump zzzzzzzzzzz bump etc)

I went back to see what was happening and there was Frankie hapilly (well, not THAT happily as he hates it) trotting along, but every so often as a certain part of the belt reached the back roller there was a "bump" noise as a bulge in the belt went over the roller. On investigation I retrieved a very dead and very flat mouse which was on a permanent trip on the belt, presumably haveing been scooped along when the machine started up.

And I could just visualise the cartoon Tom sitting there going hehehehe as he watched Jerry going around and around :D
