My youngest dog keeps attacking my oldest?

i have two dogs, one is a shih tzu cross chihuahua 10 years old, the other is her daughter 4 years old cross with a bichon frise, and she started attacking her mother, shes always been the more subdued one out of the two and i cant understand why shes turned so nasty, i want to stop this before it gets out of hand, i need help?

Bitch on bitch attacks can be very dangerous. It can be a territorial thing where one bitch tries to drive out the other bitch to claim the territory. I would suggest you seek professional help from a properly qualified behaviourist. The best ones belong to either COAPE or the APBC. Do it sooner rather than later.

Hopefully it will not be territorial but if it is be prepared for bad news.

The best chances of two dogs getting along are if they are different sexes and different breeds. Not so evenly matched then.
