Rose :)

SADLY ROSE NRLC HAVENT BEEN GIVEN ANY MORE GROUND THAN LAST YEAR. BALLYWALTER ESTATE ARE STICKING WITH WHAT THEY THINK IS BEST...I.E. "VINTAGE TRACTORS DESERVE MORE SPACE THAN A LURCHER AND TERRIER SHOW !" DAFT BASTRDS  THING IS, NOBODY LOOKS AT VINTAGE TRACTORS OTHER THAN THE GUYS WHO OWN THEM  , SO YOUVE GOT 10 VEHICLES WITH THEIR "DUNGAREE-CLAD" OWNERS STANDING BESIDE THEM FOR 2 DAYS WASTING OXYGEN & RACING SPACE. IVE EMAILED AND EMAILED ASKING TO TRY TO BE MORE ACCOMADATING..NOT ONE REPLY FROM NRLC OR BALLYWALTER.

YEAYYYYYYYYYY an extra 200 yds to race.........!

Hey John i'll let you into a lttle secret.George and Phil used to love going round the old tractors and steam engines :- " Could be something to do with age :D

Hope to be there with Ernie ! What day is the racing on and what distance will they be running ?

both days have racing and showing martin. racing suits unders more than over 23". as its at tops 100 yds..and bloody narrow too ! its fenced off each side so is safe . still good crack for the dogs blessed with early pace. slightly uphill too.

More like 50 yards, if even 50 yards the last time i was there....with a 5 yard run off. Complete and utter joke to even call it a lurcher event. the show rings must be about 10 yards square. John what are the email addresses to the NLRC and those who organize the fair. We should all give them an email. Still amazes me why they don't allow a local club to run the events, can't see the need to bring the NLRC the whole way over from the mainland to run the lurcher events, someone must be out a small fortune for travelling expenses etc. There is no way an Irish club would be invited to run and organize a lurcher event at one of the biggest country fairs in the mainland. It is probably the most poorly attended lurcher show in Northern Ireland cause it is a total shambles ie with the space, safety of dogs, the events put on etc etc. Not too often do i complain and rant and rave but IT'S A FARCE TO EVEN CALL IT A LURCHER EVENT.

oh well alright mate youve convinced me (w00t) ive emailed direct to ballywalter aswell. click the link at top of post from rose..i emailed them aswell. not one of the barstewards replied . ive spoke to linda on the fone and she says thats all the land allocated to them..me thinks shes afraid to rock the boat.

LET THE "NORTH DOWN LURCHER AND TERRIER CLUB" ORGANISE IT !!

Having spoken to you John I think I will wait for Shanes Castle. We`ll take them on with Ernie. Promise you he will test them ! Gave him a spin around Longford on Wednesday and was very impressed with the way he ran. Going well up my gallop at home as well.
