good to see a few lurchers trialing at Westhoughton last night as well as one of their border terriers it really enjoyed it as did the crowd

we will be putting a race on down the last straight for TERRIERS if anyone is interested booking in as above

see i come from up there and years ago no way could you run the lurchers with the whippets now iam in cornwall i wonder if they will let us do it down here as i would like to run my 19 inch merle against them whippets

They all loved it and have taken to it so well, going out of the boxes with no problems at all, see how they go with other dogs next week.

The open should be good we've quite a bit of competition now :- "

the lurchers and terriers are allways catered for here in the North West they don't however compete against the whippets The N.N.W.R.F have 2 opens in the south where lurchers will be catered for in July straight racing at Fordingbridge and Sept bend racing at Portsmouth greyhoun stadium for anyone who is interested keep you posted nearer the time

We are planning to be there, do we just turn up, I think that's what we did last year. Hebe hasn't raced for ages but I'm sure she'll do her best. May even try to get Rafferty, lazy beddy to move if there is a terrier race.

Would love to see Scrumpy run as she is FAST (w00t) but she's never run on a track (only after squirrels :- " ) so we'll have to come along for some practice first.
