the nutty woman over the road got herself a very young pup in the Summer. it spent its time sat out on the grass every day in an unfenced garden from 8 am till midnight they all sat there all day the pup as running about and doing as it pleased with her screeching at it like a bloody fish wife. I had a few chats with her about food tarning worming and jabs and she said she would get it all sorted.

At the end of the school holidays in went the nutter her kids and the dog. I thought after a few weeks she had got rid of it after all shes all ready got rid of 2 of her 4 kids a few other dogs and god knows what else. But in the last few weeks I have been hearing puppy crying at night and on and off all night I started having a look about and its her dog. the poor things about 7 months old now is through out most nights and is now running round the streets during the day.

one day we were trying to get it in her garden and her dad came past he said he thought it was her dog and he went over to it the poor thing let out such a cry of fear it was horrid. Its done the same thing when Tony gone near it absolutely petrified of men. it will only go to people that have Small children with them and then they cant touch it.

I phoned the rspca last week they came and spoke to her but as threes a sort of shelter and water outside theirs nothing they can do. Its now freezing outside the poor thing is running about again now and cuddling up at the front door step trying to get in.

Its the size and bullied of a small whippet but with a terrier type face sweet but timed. I don't know what else to do I had a chat with her 2 days ago after the rspca had been round about keeping her in collars and id tags and not letting her stray but its made no difference what do I do next

No doubt illegal and will be frowned upon by some, I'd pinch the puppy and rehome it or have it PTS. Even PTS sounds like a much better situation than what is happening to puppy.

Same as above reply, I would try and kidnap the dog and take it to a rehoming centre a long way away.

She will never listen to reason, the RSPCA have done all they can within the law.

If you can possibly get hold of it (without anyone seeing you) and spirit it away from the area (or get someone else to) that would be the best solution all round! Some pieces of fried liver are a good lure!

Good luck

Same answer for me as well. This pup is still young, and therefore easily retrained by responsible owners. But whatever you do, don't get caught.

Good luck

Thats what we thought aswell but the poor thing wont come near at all Iv tryed all the trick i know to get it but even if I get it in our garden the minet you try and get near it it lets out this blood curdeling scream and cowers then bults for it.

last time I spock to her she keeped saying I lopve my dog shes my baby thats not saying much has shes allready had 2 of her 4 kids taken off her and there all undre 10.

Surely the solcail worker can see how timmed this dog is The truble is the woman over the road is ments shes betten nabours up coverd there houese and cars with paintbrickend nabour cars and windows shes a lovly person they moved her here hoping puting her in a nice nabourhood would help sort her out instead shes we have to sit and watch while she makes this pups life hell

yep, that is what I would do :b

Can you leave some food in your front yard? Canned food would be most likely to smell enough to bring the dog over. i would place it in a dog crate and then just close the door on the dog at the first opportunity. :luck: :luck: :luck:

this is neglect and abuse! i thought the new animal welfare bill was put in place to stop this kind of thing??!!!! i would call the RSPCA back and have a chat about the welfare bill also call social services and even tho they cant do anything they could possibly ring the RSPCA too? this poor little mite is scared witless and what happens if someone tries t help and it bites??? not the dogs fault but would be PTS anyway??? start jumping up at down with those that have the power and tell them you are not afraid of going to the press if something isnt done! good luck wendy :luck:

Its a horrid situation to be in :(

With a bit of time...I'm sure you can gain its trust :luck:

Sadly these type of people will just replace it for another pup or baby :- "

socail services made her get spayed but unfortunaly the dogs not nutty woman aid shes 7 months I recon more like 9 or 10 so the dog will probably be in season soon. anyone want a litter of puppys :(

What a horrible situation, poor little pup, and poor you, it must be really distressing to watch :(

Unfortunately I don't think the new animal welfare bill is law yet (I think it comes in in April? Not sure but I'll find out). That will give the RSPCA much more power in situations like this - but not much help to this poor pup now.

Do you think she really 'loves' it? Sometimes saying that you know of a perfect home 'just looking for a dog like that' and offering a few quid can do the trick. Otherwise I agree, the dog needs to 'escape' somehow if at all possible - but please don't do anything to put yourself at risk from the dog or the owner.

Hiya What a distreesing situation for you :( When i found 16 yearold jack russell running down road, it had untreated allergy.overgrown nails etc.RSPCA refused to come out, said stray dog wardens dept as it was sat no chance till mon I rang and asked to speak to a mamager and asked if the general public who donate money were aware of this situation as it was a case of neglect. They told me and this is true that even if a dog was found collapsed unless it had been hit by a car or something it would have to go to police kennels!!!!!! This is when I lost my rag and said i would make sure the dog press was aware of their attitude and suprise suprise they offered to come and get the dog. This situation is terrible as their is no warden at weekends and the animals are left to suffer  TRy RSPCA again but dont give in get MAD :luck: :luck: jan
