Our friends co-own a narrow boat so invited us to spend the day with them on Bank Holiday Monday cruising down the Macclesfield Canal.

That looked such a peaceful trip. You lucky thing, that is something I would love to do. The dogs took it all in their stride and seemed to enjoy it.

I love the picture of Jonah looking down the boat too and the one of Amber on the lookout for pirates (w00t) . The scenic ones are beautiful - i would have refused to come home :lol:

Some lovely photos and gorgeous scenery and some great lighting. What a fab combination. Too many nice ones to pick a favourite but the cow drinking from the canal made me laugh and you just want to kiss Jonah's animated little face looking back at you from t'other end of boat. I must go and explore...all just down the road from me.

How did I miss these ?! I am just green with envy ... my dream has always been to live on a narrow boat! Maybe when we retire ... 'twill have to be a big one though to fit all these whippets in !
