Chappie ... I have a dachsie with health problems for whom, of the low protein foods he can eat, Chappie is the only food he will eat, but as said keeping teeth clean is a problem ... nothing stopping you actually cleaning them for him with a doggie toothpaste though if you're worried.
Water ... one of mine loves it, the other will run through nettles to avoid it, although he is getting better, he actually ventured into the sea on holiday the other week.
Recall ... I think you maybe need to work on this - glad to give advice re. training methods if needed - as although whips will become deaf when chasing, for your dogs safety a good recall is essential. Mine aren't perfect but I'm pretty confident I could get them back if they were running into danger and I'm guessing that if you were similarly confident you'd feel able to free run Archie (?) more.
