i used witch hazel on my tattoos and savlon spray for the prince albert healed really quick,also use anti bacterial handwash to wash around it.. :thumbsup: (belly button i mean )

Ahh. Thats how i felt this weekend just gone. as i went to hairdressers with mum and i had my hair done and my mum recommended me to get my eyebrows waxed! i was like what!? whatwhatwhat!? so the lasy who was doing the eyebrow waxing took me upstairs and i was so scaredlol i was shaking and gripping to the bed where i was. but it was fine. it dosent hurt at all. plucking is worse.

so i guess.

get it done! once its done, its done. its not like eyebrow waxing going back regurlay like me

i want to have my belly button pierced next week after my birthday, i cant realy have it done before becausei start my new job this week and we have got to set the shop up and i expect it will involve alot of bending and stuff which i expect would be very uncomfortable!
Ive wanted it done for about 4/5 years now but my mum said no last time i asked her so i was going to have it done for my 16th because i didnt need her concent  but i wasnt brave enough but ive decided i deffinatly want it done now but im still scared to death :wacko:   im terrified of pain and i hate needles!

Anyone got any words of wisdom to share to make me feel better (or worse )

Sorry this isn’t going to make you feel better but recently I heard someone on the radio speaking about a car accident when the seat belt drove the belly bar into her stomach.

The surgeon was also on the programme and he said it was like a bullet wound. It had gone threw her intestines (some of which he had to remove in order to save her life) and almost reached her spine.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear but I was shocked that it could be so dangerous-in fact almost fatal!

I had mine done back in the year DOT didnt hurt, i wear a ring in mine,

found the bar rubbed.

Thanks everyone im realy exited about having it done even if i am apprehensive I still need to tell my mum though! i know she wont like the idea but i figured if i tell her in the next day or two it gives her chance get use to the idea before i actually have it done! :teehee:

OMG!! I'd have to find my bellybutton first lol!!!

I think it looks great on all you young skinny things though, just make sure you take all the advice and keep it clean etc, same as any piercing.

hmmm, make sure its done by a professional and kept clean and if/when you have kids, take it out so it doesnt stretch and go manky (a mate didnt, and oh my god :x )

deffo go for a bar not a ring, :thumbsup: my friends border collie jumped up at me, put his claw through the ring by accident and dragged me to the floor by it when he panicked at me screaming >_< :x

that was 8 years ago and i still have a lovely scar to prove it

I told my mum earlier that i want it doing and she didnt say much just that she cant see the point if no-one can see it (she actually dedcribed it as being as pointless as having your toe pierced :teehee: dont know where she got that from lol) but she didnt say no (she didnt say yes either ) and her reaction was alot better than i anticipated so its looking good i work on her for a few days until she says yes as i dont realy want to have it done completly against her wish... but it isnt realy upto her anyway!
