Baby Miles. 1st came protein in urine, then it didn't go away on a repeat test, then energy level drops and he just stops eating.. More tests this week, but I have a bad feeling. Meanwhile, our walks look like this, just resting mostly.
I thought second time around would somehow be easier, not to mention somewhere in a distant future, but today it doesn't seem this way. Fingers crossed though that it just a spell and will somehow pass.

Sending all my best wishes for a good outcome.

I have everything crossed for you and Miles xxx

Everything crossed for you both.

What a lovely photo.

Thinking of you both and have everything crossed for Baby Miles too x

Everything crossed for good news for you and miles ....xxxx

Absolutely keeping our paws crossed for you and baby Miles.

No news yet. Blood sent to the lab yesterday for testing, results should be back today/tomorrow.
In the mean time he regained some of the energy and appetite, so morning walks are actually walks again, even if he sleeps most of the rest of the day. At the very least, we don't have to jump through hoops to keep him hydrated.
While at the vet to give blood waiting for the technician, he got on the scale - gained 3 pounds over this lethargic period despite not eating well (that's about quarter stone I guess). Not good, and quite frustrating - we worked hard for months to loose those 3 pounds!

Beautiful boy - this is such a hard time for you, but I hope it has a happy outcome.

Glad to hear he's a bit brighter in himself. Still everything crossed for it being a blip.

Me too. Perhaps some of the 3lbs is fluid, and will disperse. All the best for good test results.

Test results are in - slight abnormalities here and there, but nothing that really stands out... which is good news, for now.
We'll do another round of urine and blood testing in a month or so, to see if any trends pop up.
Meanwhile the boy will have to walk his walks again. He's become a primadonna lately, sitting or laying in the middle of the parking area, waiting for other dogs to arrive and come to him, instead of searching for them on the trails in the woods...
Thanks for the support, everyone! Much love to all!

That is good news! So far so good, long may it stay that way🤞😊
