We took Tilly on a 76 mile round trip for my friend to groom her ...left the boys with my mum ...when we came back the boys went mad when they saw Tilly ...they whimpered cried and did a synchronised howl ...kissing her and overjoyed at seeing her ...so that was the decision made

She doesn't find them a bit overwhelming at times if they're a bit full on? Or does she really benefit from the doggy company? How is she in general now - paws under the table, or still anxious?

They are very respectful of her ...she is still nervous but half as bad as she was ...she will go into the garden without being carried now and will walk through the open door ...still a long way to go but such progress in 2 weeks ....
I am sure she would love a dog the same size as herself and am going to test that with my friends cavapoo when they return from holiday ......

Cant believe Sykes is 16 months old and Teddy is one year old on friday ...teddys first holiday ...sykes 2nd ...they both love the beach here

We are staying in jacobstow 5 miles from bude ....the beach at black rock is gorgeous

They have been so good ....Teddy hasnt been lead walked much as we go to the woods offlead and across fields at home so this has been a new experience and he has taken it all in his stride ....such wonderful dogs .....we are absolutely besotted ...
There are quite a few young deerhounds looking for homes as people aren't buying bigger dogs as they cost so much to feed and look after

Widemouth Bay, about an hour from where I am. Used to take Jimmy there a fair bit, but it will be busier now with all the holiday makers! ;-) There's also a disused airfield (WW2?)/racetrack about 30-45 minutes from there, with a reservoir which makes for a nice walk too.
