Well I would like to say what a slack mother am I for not getting on here and thanking you all profusely for your congratulations to my most beauuuutiiiiful girl Electra on her gaining her Grand Champion title - but I can say that I have been very busy through all of April with Specialties (for both my breeds) the Royal Easter Show & my two legged kennel maids (Michael & Harley) going away for two weeks.

SO - many thanks to you all finally, it is a major achievement and I am so proud of the way she did it that weekend with 3 x BOB and cut for group at all 3 shows.

BUT there is more.....

At the Good Friday Whippet Show under Pehr Lundstrom from Sweden, she AND her kids took the following awards -

Electra - 1st Open Bitch and Reserve Bitch Challenge

Zest - (Electra x Woodbrook's Wizard of Oz (Imp Fin)) - Australian Bred in Show

Patches - (Zest x Davina Planned Precision) - 2nd Intermediate Bitch - this meant for Reserve Challenge we had Mother, Daughter, Grand-daughter in the line up

Delilah - (Electra x Diego - Patches brother) - Baby Puppy In Show

Klaudia - (Electra x Nugget - Zest's brother) - 2nd Baby Puppy Bitch

Mickey - (Electra x Nugget) - Opposite Baby Puppy In Show

And Toni's kids who got various Minor & Puppy in Show awards were her great grandchildren too.

At second Whippet Show - her two kids Delilah & Mickey again took out Baby Puppy & Opposite Baby Puppy in show.

And then at the Royal Easter Show -

Electra 2nd Open Bitch (to RUBIS winner Dilly)

Zest 1st Aust Bred Bitch

Patches 2nd Intermediate Bitch

Diego 1st Intermediate Dog

and her kennel mate Charlie (Ch Tezer Feel Free To Stare) was 2nd in Open Dog and Reserve Challenge Dog.

So Miss Electra is now in 3/4 retirement, only going to Specialties, Royals & the odd International weekend show.

My sincerest thanks to Toni and John for allowing her to come and live with us and for coping with her various adventures.
