Ive been doin my brains in,trying to make my mind up,whether to buy a new CANON 450D with the 2 kit lens's which have IS built in.Or to stick with my wee OLYMPUS,and buy the 55/200,2.8/3.5 lens for it,which cost over £700.Could some of the more knowledgable photographers please help me out here,as this will be the last camera stuff,other that a decent flash,that i will be buying.Or does anybody know where i could get a better kit than this,maybe even 2nd hand,for that kind of money. I will have a few quid after a bit,when i move the pups,and would like to at least have summit to show for it,before the rest goes on,or around the house. ...Billy...

450d would be my choice outta the options, or a 40d with kit lens,(will be my next camera) 40d is sharper and more frames a second, u will love IS on a lens, my 300mm has it and its great for mooching about with. hope this helps billy

After measuring up for a new shed this evening,and then sitting down to work it all out on paper,with plans n thing's,and then coming up with the idea that a 16x12 would be a great asset to have,it looks like it will have to be which ever one is the cheaper of the two.Would love a 40D,as a mate has one,and it churns out 6 n 1/2 FPS,and very sharp.Some bad reviews on the 450D though,which is why i was looking at the other option.Would love to here from someone who has used one for action pix.A mate said he had seen the 450D in Amason somewhere,in a 5 len's kit offer,for £599,but i can't find it anywhere,even looked ebay.

Hi mate, out of you 2 choices I would go for the 450D. I'm a nikon man myself but theres not alot of difference. Have a look at this link.
