There is another litter born 4 days ago, but, only one dog pup not spoken for,

This is the sire below, deerhound/greyhound/collie/greyhound, the deerhound cross is out of my stuff. The dam of this litter is a greyhound, a repeat mating, and the pups from the previous litter are doing the business as all-rounders

and to be honest bill that dog you posted a pic of looks nothing like most deer/grey/collie/grey dogs sold over here he looks lean and mean, ive went and seen a good few dogs here with that breeding in them and they where huge bulky dogs and we werent to keen on them

very kind regards ross ;)

Hi pup,

like everything else, sometime things arnt exactly what they say they are on the tin.. :(

Plus a lot can depend on the deerhounds being used, show hounds are too big, and too lazy for crossing for decent lurhers, this dog comes from pure working stock..'Makes all the difference'

I have not exagerated what these dogs are capable of, thats why they have been snapped up by the locals..

I will try and get some photos as they develope and post them on here

Hi Pearl, sorry, he is 27 inches...and gets down to those bunnies great

im only 50 mile from waterford.dyin for the bitch to get older,so we can do a bit of hunting,if she s a dud :( but i have my doubts, then the doherty breed is crap :p but their is no fear in my mind :huggles: :huggles:

had the bitch out 2day huntin and she picked 2 bunnies and she is only 25 weeks old...looks like doherty's breed is spot on 8) 8)

Well done matie, but dont be tempted to push it...I LOVE and always seek some early success, and set all my pups a goal of 100 rabbits before they are a year old, dogs from my stuff are bred for numbers, they are wasted in the hands of one for the pot men,,,but remember its just a bairn, hope you get lots more bunnies under your belt
