New Ground For The Northern

On behalf of the Northern Pedigree whippet Racing Club, i am very pleased to announce that we have moved to a new location.

Our new ground is situated at Leisure Lakes, Mere Brow, Tarleton, Preston. PR4 6JX

It has lots of facilities bar, cafe's caravan site, golf club etc.

Camping for opens will be available either on our field or the camp site.

Its a good size of ground, with enough room for bends and also longer distance straights.

We will be trialing throughout the winter, weather permitting and anyone wishing to trial their dogs please pm myself or Barry.

A work party has been there all day moving the lock up etc. below are a few pictures of the ground and the move :thumbsup:

we held our NNWRF STRAIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS (non-ped) there in May 2009 ground can get a bit boggy in the bad weather it was really bad weather as well that year, but we managed we had our track to the left of the field looking in from the road great place though everyone enjoyed it especially the kids plenty to keep them amused over the 3 days :thumbsup: best of luck with it :luck:

IF YA TRAILING IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO I MIGHT JUST DO THE TWO HOURS JOURNEY AND COME UP.
