I am soon to become the devoted servant of an Italian Greyhound girl. Have done a bit of reading up but would be very grateful for any advice regarding breed idiosyncrancies.

Also would be nice to know if there are any owners in my area, East of Melbourne.

Thanks. :D

congratulations

Good Luck!!!!! :luck:

if you read back on this forum, you will find out plenty about what these little o:) are like to live with

can't wait for pics :D

Oh how exciting for you (w00t) !!!!!

Say goodbye to any semblence of normality your life may have and welcome to the world of blind adoration and devotion

Advice? ... uhmmm your whole existence will soon be at her command :D    ... and they like warm and fluffy things. Like labradors. And they may not necessarily eat sardines on Tuesdays but a little pasta can take a week to chew ( in front of 5 other glaring drooling critters).

What else. Nobody will ever speak to you again - you'll be staring at the top of their heads while they coo over your iggy. Behind their ears can smell of honey.

Or cow-poo depending where they've been recently.

Annndddd welcome to the IDF... the Iggy Devotion Fanclub :huggles: :huggles:

Congratulations  and cant wait to see your photos hopefully.

I just love the comment regarding the back of their ears!! priceless.

Now I am sure I'm being paranoid, but I have not been able to contact the breeder for a few days and am now worrying that this little girl will not be mine - gasp! I've only seen photos of her and am already organising stuff. I mean really, she won't be due to leave home for at least another month!

I shall keep you posted. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Julie
