Hi my name is Sue Williams and I got whippet Harry from Easington Colliery races just over two years ago. Harry is doing fine and I'd like to contact the previous oner whose name I forget to tell her how he is and let her see a pic of him. I think her name might have been Margaret? Harry is a 20lb male brindle whose main distinguishing feature is that he still pees on his front legs! This should identify him to the person who had him before. Can anyone help? Thanks, Sue.

Hi Sue and Harry

Welcome to k9

Think a distinguishing feature of many little boy whippets is soggy front legs (w00t)

Hope you track his previous owner down and please can we see the pictures too - we like pictures

:teehee: I have found that with Murphy, when I was paper trainning him he would stand on the paper fine but his piddle would hit the kitchen sink :D about a ft in front of his front legs    so I would put the paper by the backdoor with the door open and he would piddle outside from the door  handy on a cold night ;)

Welcome to K.9 Sue and good luck with your search :luck:

Was Harry a racing whippet ? My boys dont pee over their legs now  , but used too.

Easington has a greyhound track, did you pick Harry up from there ?

How old is the dog now and did you get an info about his breeding ?

maybe if you posted some pics on here, someone might recognise him?

and if not we can all just admire him instead  :-

Yes he was a racing whippet who I picked up from Easington Colliery greyhound track. He is now 3.5 years old. I have to work out how to get a pic of him uploaded.

Hi Sue

He sound's like a non ped boy,,your best bet is to ask in the non ped racing section. A photo might help also,,Can you remember any if his breeding,,mum or dad,,maybe his date of birth. Now about 90% sure you will find his last owner

What area did he come from,,that would help lots also.

Susan
