hi im raz i have just bote a blue whippet bitch and am wanting to get into racing a bit with her just for a bit of fun.

just joind this site to see what going on and wise up a bit more on my whippets hehe. i do have another black and white 3yr old whippet but aswell but will not be starting her racing. girlfriend wont let me lol

Welcome. I'm newish too, I started last year. If you tell me what area you live I'll tell your local racing club and that might be the best place to start. Did you buy a racing bred puppy? They say it makes a difference. Anyway, good luck with it all and welcome to K9. Ron.

Sooty and Sam indicate non-pedigree so good news and bad news time!

Good news - you live in the "north" so far more non-ped clubs.

Bad news - you live in the north-west - more limited choices. Most non-ped clubs are situated on the other side of the Pennines but you have Westhoughton not too far from you.

They frequent this site a lot, so keep an eye on this forum and they will be in touch with you very soon

Had to laugh as I expect there is a bit of a comedy of errors going on here.

I expect razcalcy meant Sooty Sam not Sooty and Sam in which case the dog is probably KC registered.

Am I right or wrong razcalcy?

yes that is rite sorry guys for the confusion i think my nearest venue is near hollingworth lake in lancashire ant then 1 near wigan. how do i start to train my pup any help will be appreciated thanks
