We are just getting over Nikes Gem doing his gracilis muscle & told he will never run again .When Mersadies Gem was in a pile up on the first bend at Portsmouth & she has damaged the Crucial Ligaments .Cartiledge & Tibia is loose . Have had second opinion and was told she will never run agian . We are gutted but at the end of the day .Weare lucky we have still got Ronnie & Sadie

Sorry to hear this... give them both 6 months off and see how they are

Sorry to hear about your bad news. It is bad enough to be told one dog won't run again but I can't imagine what it is like to have two dogs not running. At least you still have your babies and can pamper them in their retirement.

So sorry to read that their racing careers have to come to an end, we have always had a soft spot for Sadie (could be the name!!!) we had some good competition against her with Two Faced and always loved to see her do well too. Enjoy your retirement from racing both Ronnie and Sadie, we know racing or not you will have a lovely life with Mick & Vicky. :)

ITS SUCH A SHAME BECAUSE YOU AND MICK ARE TO OF THE NICES PEAPLE I HAVE MET IN WHIPPET RACING YOU HAVE ALWAYS HELPT ME AND RAE WITH MILLY AND SOME GOOD ADVICE WITH ALFIE WITH ALL THE SAD NEWS LATELY YOU STILL GOT RONNIE AND SADIE PART OF THE FAMILY

So sorry to hear this :( , maybe you may be tempted to breed with her when she has recovered enough.

i am sure there will be a long waiting list for a pup.

And maybe you might race Rosies Gem a bit more

sorry to hear this :( had some good races with milli and sadie on the straights.

Happy Retirement Ronnie & Sadie :huggles:

Rotten luck! So sorry. 2 fab dogs, I hope they have a long and happy retirement. :huggles:

Really sorry to hear this, what a shame. I know they'll have a lovely retirement with you two.

Have a long and happy retirement Ronnis and Sadie :luck:

Absolutely gutted for you both :( No-one deserves that kind of luck, especially you both. Keep your hope going and you never know what might happen in the future. thinking of you both.

Chris xx

Great pair of races credit to mick and vicky time great healer good luck lyndon and family

Sorry to hear your awful news, i'm sure Ronnie & Sadie will be spoilt rotten in their retirement.

gutted for you both what a gutsy little girl she is she wouldn't give up even though she had to hobble round to the trip many would have pulled up, know she'll get the very best of care from you and if retirement is inevitable she'll be a pampered pet and a great brood bitch :luck:
