Well what a fantastic turnout over the 3 days for the 2012 NNWRF CHAMPIONSHIPS some great racing and nail biting finishing to be witnessed, well done to all newly crowned champions

I unfortunately missed all the racing on Sun due to spending the day at the hospital with a broken toe  a huge thanks to everyone who got stuck in to help out in the horrendous weather especially Joe Lynch who worked all Sat and Sun on traps and Gordon Richardson who stepped in on Mon, Dennis Cochram lure driver all 3 days, Andy Pocket camera, Lisa line judge and of course the ever popular masre of ceremonies Lyndon, Well done all the kids who entered the JUBILEE CROWN and FANCY DRESS competitions on Sat the TUG OF WAR comp had to be called off due to the weather but the kids races went ahead on the Mon along with the terrier race between our staffy DEMON and Anths FRENCHY thanks to Pat (tinkersmill ) for sorting all the prizes. There were loads of raffle prizes thanks to everyone who donated, and thanks to Stuart who again raffled toe GALLON OF ALE and donated the proceeds to the STAFFS CLUB ant the NNWRF much appreciated the prize as yet is unclaimed winning number 251 - 256 let me know if you have the winning ticket if it isn't claimed it will be raffled off at the SHIREBROOK LEDGER in September

Thanks to the team at SHIREBROOK WRC for all the hard work they have put in on the track and the staff at the SHIREBROOK STAFFS SOCIAL CLUB can't thank them enough for all what they do for us and are allways willing to do more they love having us all trhere and can't eaith for the next event

The only critisism and this isn't from the club its from the racers is some owners are

NOT CLEANING UP AFTER THEIR DOGS we all need to get on top of this whatever venue we are at

Finally to Chris W.N who is going to do an indepth report on the racing and Jac the photograoher whizz kid for doing the pics

GOOD LUCK to everyone going on to the DERBY will be missing it this year as PUSH THE BUTTON came in season yesterday, TWISTED SISTER not quite back to form yet from her season and Ive broke my toe oh well they say it comes in three

well done to all the dogs who took part and made this event really good well done to all the workers you done a fantastic job especially on sunday rain all day well done skoshi tiger , swift boy , spot black , and little wilma winning supreme and a big well done to all the new NCHs especially Jane & Dot with lucky darling the boys done good just like to thank colin & alison for looking at louis on monday ,,,, see you at the derby

Louis ran brill Denise well done on taking Sup, glad he was ok after catching the lure in the Sup run off

Once again a big thank you to all involved at the weekend, we had five caravans and a tent there and there was only one bad comment. As mentioned by Linda there are still some lazy people who aren't cleaning up after their dogs!!!

We feel foul (pardon the pun) to this twice over the weekend, firstly a kind chap parked his van three foot off my awning door which wasn't a problem as we could get in and out, he did clean up after his dog but left it under the back wheel of his van to be splatter all over when he left!!!

Secondly the worst out of the two my seven year old son fell over into a pile of dog mess and was covered in it, as you can imagine he was rather up set!!

If there was to be a warden issuing fines then this problem would soon be cleared up!

Please think of others and do what is right when you are out with your dogs, whether it be racing, walking them or what ever dog owners should ALL be responsible people :)
