A great days racing and sport by all who attended, was nice to see so many racers enjoying the sport and racing never mind who's dogs were running.

The north west dogs showed the benefit of having a bend club to attend regularly and train ready for an event and good luck to them for all there hard work.

Alva Starr and her dad Freddie (boydie) Starr took their parts well with Steve being able to give you a nasty suck minus his front false teeth.

All the workers including the stadium staff and of course Jenno the shopkeeper on the rescue stall did a great job, made for a very nice days racing.

This event has always been worth attending but i think yesterdays was one of the best i have attended, well done to everyone who seemed to want to enjoy the racing. :luck: :luck: to everyone.

Steve

quote!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fancy you noticing my teeth were missing John !!!!!

that POLICE MAN who pulled you over on the way to the racing must have wakened you up telling you to keep below 80mph and take your spare set of car keys out of the BOOT before setting off in case you loose them ----he was also a medic i hear giving you advise on the dangers of smoking a pipe --- he must have noticed that you had left your teeth at home also -----pots calling pans grimey arse ---springs to mind --mr smoothy--LOL steve

certainly was a brilliant day thanks to everyone who came to support this open. some great racing with some future champions making their debut onto the bends , thanks to all the hard working staff at the stadium they can't do enough for us it really is appreciated by all of us. our sincere apologies to to the young lady who was verbally abused by one spectator I can assure you this person will be dealt with (more on this later)

The NNWRF committee are honoured to run this event on behalf of Wendy Freeman for her WHIPPET RESCUE charity and we thank her for her generosity, thanks also to Chris and Paul for all their help going down to the bottom of the country to collect all the trophies ect; and Paul and Mary organising the stall which raised a whopping £680 for the rescue well done everyone.

Well done the rest of the committee for all your hard work as allways

back to the only problem of the day there's allways one isn't there this one however is a bit more serious than a hitch in the proceedings and will be dealt with as such, I am not going to name the offender on here, he is not a member of the NNWRF at present so he can't be dealt with under section 1 rule 3 of the rule book regarding membership withdrawal but he will be barred from attending all NNWRF events for the remainder of 2007 and 2008

THIS BEHAVIOUR CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED

Well said Linda ---and not before time.

Far to many are trying to bring the sport down to their level and it seems always to be the same culprits who respect absolutely nothing ---and no-one!!!! it would seem they are intent on causing trouble at every event ---possible.

Time a example was set so it is nipped in the bud---

Steve ---Not Karen so theres no confusion as to who is posting. :( :(

You have worked hard to get your looks Steve, mine is neglect, but i was insulted when a certain lady!!!! said we could be twins, was it the guts or the lack of front teeth steve? answers on a postcard please :clown:  pal

Had my mother spent as much on my education as i have spent on my size and looks i would have been a professor ----not a butcher ---and i was always told i had a twin who was at university ---but it was a long time before i was told he was in a specimen jar no one told me they had released you John ---lol---pal
