great clubhouse serving a good pint so Ive been told and cheap

id just like to thank all on the shirebrook staff committe for all there help getting this club venue going ive never seen such keeness to help set up a club doing every thing in there power to make this a success. so from all shirebrook wrc members id like to thank you all :thumbsup: makes life so much nicer knowing we are made so welcome there.

al 3rd it.and lets hope the whippet squad dont muck it up,and clean up,as up Scotland on the site there was dog dirt all over the place, its just not on :angry:

After a meeting with Shirebrook Staff Club today we can now update on what they have arranged for us whippeters re entertainment, Friday night will be Karaoke night, Saturday a disco has been booked and live entertainment for Sunday night, bingo will be on in the club Sunday afternoon, everyone is more than welcome in the club but we have been asked that dogs are NOT taken into the club please.

The cafe will be open each day from approximately 9.30/10.00 am for breakfasts and continuing throughout the day with hot food and beverages until approximately 3.30/4.00 pm.

If you have children to entertain there are quite a few attractions close by check out this website for ideas www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk Willow Tree Family Farm is only a short walk from the track :thumbsup:

As we have said on numerous occasions the Shirebrook Staff have bent over backwards to support the whippet club and have worked hard for us, they are looking forward to hosting this event and are doing their utmost to please, so please lets respect and return all their time and effort and have a great week end. Thats me done for now (w00t)

i agree lets respect their time and effort to accomadate us,and under no circumstances have anyone spoil it.we are getting short on places that will have us so lets make it a success. :luck:
