Well done all the winners - nice to see some different faces in the final
Two Faced ran well all day and deserved the trophy, Fiddler another who put in a good run, as did Moany Moany, Rhyme & Reason as always.

Rapskallion & Southern Spark for best race of the day

Southern Spark was very impressive in both his debut races

Blaze ran her socks off for me and I'm very proud of her, not bad for a Veteran 11 weeks from season, who dares wins as they say and she certainly pulled it off to bring us a lovely trophy home  .

Well done girl.Absolutely brill to here you're Blaze did the business today.Make's it all worth while, and at 11 years old.Great job. ...Billy...

Thanks for all the well dones people - a really good day (well i suppose we would say that today) but all joking apart a well organised event and all went smoothly, brill atmosphere thanks everyone.

Showed him to Connor's Lass, she says she still fancies his 18lb blue litter brother more :- " . I hope she does as it'll be a long trip next time she comes in season. 500 miles :sweating: I hope Blue Rose is ready for it :huggles: .

I think you get confused Billy :huggles: , Blaze is a Veteran as she is over 5yrs of age (she turned 5 on New Years Day). The 11 was for 11 weeks out of season, it's just great to see her improving so soon from season as I supressed her for 6 months last year purely because I was sick of her getting so ill and out of sorts following a season, it would take 18 weeks or more before she'd come right and with her erratic seasons they were getting closer and closer from 11 months apart to 10, 8 then 6 :sweating: . This was her first season off supressant and fingers crossed she seems to have started to improve from 10 weeks out and she just looks great  .

Here's to her continuing to improve her form from now right up to 15 weeks out  . Also a cuddle for her for just being plain special :huggles: .

another pleasurable days racing and as promised as allways here in the North West SUNSHINE 8) . The scales were kept up for an extra half hour and then some to allow for those held up on the motorway (were so laid back here in the North West people think theyr'e in Devon)

A couple of apologies firstly from the committee to the owners of RHYME N' REASON, RAPSCALLION and MAID YOUR POINT owing to the wrong marks on the programme for the H/W dog final this race had to be re-run and secondly from me for Tillie (LITTLE DOLL) turning back out of the traps in the L/W bitch final I couldn't believe it she's never done it before unfortunately she is back on the injury list and fortunately there was a reason for it she didn't just jib it

Thanks to Kieth Woodward for working on the traps all day as allways does a great job , Tommy Carr judge / timing, Thanks to Jac for putting the mats and foot baths out good to see racers making full use of these precautionary measures which have been adopted lets hope its kept up at all venues better safe than sorry and last but not least thanks to the rest of the committee

A poor turnout for a classic event but with the BWRA CHAMPS not far away I suppose it was to be expected anyhow it was a good day in a nice friendly relaxed atmospere Well done to all the winners some cracking racing

and finally a GRUNT you know I'm a stickler for the rules

REMINDER ;- ALL DOGS ENTERING INTO A RACE MUST WEAR A JACKET AND IT MUST BE THE CORRECT COLOUR FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION

:luck: Good luck to everyone competeing at the BWRA CHAMPS :luck:
