Just arrived home from Fordingbridge Week-End. The weather was perfect and the racing brilliant on both days.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the workers, especially Lyndon on the speaker system. Lydon you made the week-end with your fabulous commentry on all the racing. Fiona you did a great job as lure girl, can I book you for next year. Craig you worked tirelessly on the traps in that hot weather thanks a lot. Dave Bowen helping out with line judging and half way judging ( sometimes it's a thankless job ) I would like to thank Amanda for helping me with the race draw and sorting out the prize money, you are a gem. If I have not mentioned anyone else who helped I apologise but we are very grateful for all your help.

The burger van went down a treat and I don't know how Neil Gilbert persuaded the guy to start cooking burger & chips at midnight on Saturday after the disco finished, I think he kept plying him with drinks all evening.

Once again thanks to Steve & Jane Rowell for donating the replica trophy, it was beautiful. Also Sharon & Bobby for putting up the beautiful Silver Cup for the Yearling Supreme winner. I am realy pleased that Bert & Jane Madgwick won it with Notorious, it was nice to see a club dog win it .

It was a fabulous turn out for the camping, so I hope that all of you who came down enjoyed yourselves and think it was well worth the journey. If we have this event next year I hope you all come again.

Once again a big, big, thankyou to all who supported us.

kind regards

Doreen

ANYONE GOING TO PUT FULL RESULTS UP FOR THE 2 DAYS PLEASE

I will try to put them on as soon as I have unpacked the caravan.

regards

Doreen

THANKS FOR RESULTS DOREEN WELL DONE ALL RUNNERS

Just got home, fantastic weekend, some brilliant racing especially both 20lb bitch heats between Sapphire Flash and Flybaby and then between Southern Touch and One's Genevive on the Saturday and the 20lb bitch class on the Sunday resulting in a dead heat between Moccachino and Flybaby and not forgetting our little Jessica - Connor's Dream dead heating with Blue Reflections in the Supreme veteran final on Sunday and not fully out from season it's no mean feat against such a class dog that at 6 years old ran a time to rival the adult class winner on the Saturday as did Morpheous barely a week after his 7th birthday.

No Joe was on top form all weekend looking in superb condition, Tinkersmill also in top shape running some fantastic races and Indica coming alive on the Sunday to make the Supreme Final of all northern dogs.

Fordingbridge club have put on another fantastic weekend and we'll be back next year without a doubt. Doreen had everything organised and the Fordingbridge team all worked fantastically behind the scenes for everything to run smoothly.

I'm sure Lyndon 'the Mike' Gilbert has a few comments to add, he kept us all entertained on the loud speaker during the racing.
