Just to keep everyone updated We have secured SWALLOWNEST for the Easter classic and the straight Championships

the only slight problem being, due to us booking up late the concert room is allready booked up for the Saturday of the championship weekend, we are looking to see if the Wetherby pub on the corner can accommodate us with hiring room for the saturday evening (however not holding out much hope on it ) so if all else fails we are thinking of putting a marquee up and booking a hog roast bar-b-q for after the sat racing where members can bring their own drinks and help the CHAMPIONS OF THE DAY celebrate

we'll organise some games for the kids and the OLD kids so hopefully it should be fun

All we need now is some decent weather then I'm sure it will be a success

regarding drinks PLASTIC GLASSES only on the field please in the interest of safety for the dogs and children we don't want to risk broken glass on the field

* looking forward to two great weekends of racing and enjoyment *

What will the track be like as we all know they are still playing football :)

we live in hope with everything crossed but sure with the help of our loyal groundsman Les and Co it will be ok

We will keep you all updated with any developments or god forbid changes :sweating:

well done allthe committy was starting to thing i was stuck home this easter

Well Done to the NNWRF Committee for arranging an alternative venue at short notice. It should be a great weekend of racing at Easter - its just a shame we won't have a dog to run, although we are still planning on having a good weekend away.

Well done.

got some quotes from mobile caterers for doing a hog roast bar-b-q they lay everything on including marquee tables chairs etc and staff but they charge £10 per head  managed to get a discount making it £8 per head :b it all sounds great but we think its to expensive so were still trying to come up with something for the Sat of the champs any ideas welcome
