looks like a great days racing in prospect, hope the atmosphere will be same as the Black power meeting with enjoyment all around and good company,

Glad that the openness of the draw is advertised also, ( be fair and be seen to be fair) cant go wrong then.

the adv for this open is correct its an additional open so we thought we would change things a little as we have with the other classes give dogs a chance to run against something different The same will apply for the JUNE STEELE MEMORIAL straight open in Devon

( the normal classes are 40 / 48 / no limit )

make sure you all bring a pen as you will be given a blank programme sheet which you will be able to fill in as the draw is being done all races will run as drawn if a dog requires a particular side you can swap traps if able to do so and agreed by others in that race but keep the colours you have drawn

the same strategy will apply in the following rounds

This is hoped to be an enjoyable fun day of racing then some of us are off to SELBY GAME FAIR for the rest of the easter weekend (well hopefully weather permitting) 8)

not long now good luck every one

Had a bad dream about this open last night :sweating: .

Hope it doesn't come true

No but for some reason "Biddy" was racing in about four different heats  .

Track looked kind of strange, it was built round the playground of my old primary school  .

The draw ended up being up to 35lb ALL IN with three A Finals, two B Finals, one C Final and a D Final. No heats at all just the seven finals. When I questioned someone about the draw they said someone called "Rachel" drew it that way and everyone just accepted it.

Very strange

Oh and Blaze at 29lb was in the C Final race with "Biddy 18lb  ", "Black Rose 20lb  ", "McPockett 27lb" and Mr Peak 32lb

:b
