How many under 16 lb whippets owners will take advantage of a race offered to them this saturday at Highgate, I personally can not see any turning up for this despite passionate appeals from people concerned with the plight of the under weight whippets in joining in the racing, i do hope that i will be proved wrong in this thought. :cheers: :luck:

I for one am looking forward to the peddy racing as this will be the first time mine have ran competitively outside the North-West all at the tender age of 4!! :lol:

Sorry, running round after 4 dogs, didn't get a chance to get the full programme down. :b

Was a mixed day for us, some things very positive and some things had me ready to chuck the towel in altogether . Still I have four healthy, happy whippets here at home, could have been worse and we're thankful for small mercies .

I think the fed committee deserve a medal for doing the open draw, what a difficult thing to do at the best of times, but with people watching, a frightener of a task. just the fact that it was open and honest was good to see. Not sure if I would like to write all the draws down again mind....................I quite like the idea of being a lemming and just getting a copy of it in my little mitt (w00t) Glasses and trophy for supreme were fantastic, well deserved to be won by maizee mu, tho some great races and close finishes all round. Big thanks to fed for organising it, shame more people couldnt attend and support it.
