some members are unsure regarding re-runs and equal runs so this is to clarify

EQUAL runs apply at all NNWRF events with the exception of the EASTER CLASSIC which is run over 2 days

where a dog has to have a re- run this counts as its equal run

Well done on allowing a 2nd weight. The price of racing now and the traveling people do its a shame being out weight by couple ounces.

i agree with sharon especially if your only half an ounce to an ounce out.

CLEARANCS PASSES

before pups/yearlings and all newly registered dogs can enter an NNWRF open they MUST have a a schooling formed signed off by their club secretary or NNWRF official (if present) to say they have raced cleanly with 2 or more dogs in at least 2 races on the straight

can someone from the fed committee please explain why they have decided to have two weigh's when most members who's dogs don't do the bends have had to go with the one way for most of the season,surely it would have been better to leave it untill next season. imo

or does the new rule come in for next year ?

can someone from the fed committee please explain why they have decided to have two weigh's when most members who's dogs don't do the bends have had to go with the one way for most of the season,surely it would have been better to leave it untill next season. imo

yes i aggree with you john,i dont do bends and have only had 1 weigh in, its a rarity anyway if my dogs are over weight, but yes i think this rule should be for next year :thumbsup:

it was spoken about during the weigh in at Fordingbridge in July, amongst our committee most of whom were were in attendacce those who were'nt present were asked later and all agreed,

I believe most racers are aware of the difference from one set of digital scales to the next and when some one has travelled a couple of hundred miles and been held up in traffic then to get weighed out for the sake of the dog having not emptied out fully we thought its no detriment to any racer to allow more than one weigh if needed other than it being a little time consuming on the workers but hey thats what we are here for

There is nothing unfair about it and its no big secret, Its not taking anything away from racers it is hopefully beneficial when and if needed, its been in operation since our open at Fordingbridge where members have been offered the opportunity to come back for a re-weigh if its a close call

it's a good thing but still think it should be brought in next year not now. again just my opinion.

just like kenny said i also don't have a problem with my dogs weight ,i make sure her weight is right for the event iam attending and leave in good time to allow for delays.
