...of whippet racing...arguing again...although the subject is closed, it sums up why I find it hard to get motivated, we are always arguing...

More importantly how do you train your dogs when there has been little, or no rain for 3 months? There is no grass, and the ground is like concrete?

kind regards,

Paul

Find a beach Paul

However, poor ol' Essex has less rainfall than Sydney, Australia, by approx. 600mm, and that's a fact 8) And, they still keep building new houses

kind regards,

Paul

and thats only if your lucky!

lol

and the odd chinese body floating about...............

We're lucky to be on the coast also and the whippets love the beach, touch wood!!! no injuries yet. The only downside to us living in such a place is the fact that it takes us at least 2 to 3 hours to get to any 'local' tracks!!

After a year of you non ped lot i've only witnessed a few squabbles but the social scene has far outweighed all that. Trouble with debates on here is that faceless people will always wind things up. Haven't you seen some of the 'debates' on Greyhound section paul? Straight over my head and it wont stop me racing.

You'd think the beach was the best idea in this weather, i'd been travelling 1hr to our nearest beach twice a week until my pup sliced straight down the middle of her pad pretty deep on what i presume was a shell. That'll teach me for taking the cotton wool off

We were giving the dogs alot of beach work while the weather was very hot, but since Scotland it hasn't been to bad, we have been running them 2 twice a week at aycliffe and last night dawdon, ballyspot has been injured so she has had light exercises the past few weeks

When the grounds hard paul we try to get to the beach

The beach would be lovely...has anyone ever seen Grays beach? Thought not! Mud and the dirty Thames, plus a view of the QE2 bridge! Guess I'm gonna keep walking the streets (with the dogs that is)...

Laters,

Paul
