They have been using so much salt on whatever tracks were running the odd day,over here,that the times are anything to 1n1/2 seconds down,for 525 trials.So everybodyy'g going about with their brains in neutral,as to what their dogs can,or can't do.I would think that there won't be too many track records threatened if the track staff over there,are doing same,with the salt thingy.Our local tracks have beed a closed shop of late,but im hopeing to get a run tomorrow night.Some serious black ice around here at the moment,with loads of accidents.Was a very bad one today,when we were returning from Alannah's hospital appointment.Where apparently a lorry hit a car head on or summit,and one of them burst into flames.Big main Derry road was closed all day,and still is.Guess some poor family is beginning to go through hell because of it.Have heard nothing on news yet,but assume there were fatalities.Skidded for about 20 yrds on black ice myself,just a few hundred yrds from the house this morning,on way to hospital,and when we eventualy got home,someone had gone straight through the wall of the house,exactly where i had the near miss.Only for a quick pull on the handbrake,it could have been us through the wall.Anyway,enough of that.Hope everything comes up trumps for you all on 15th.Wish i was able to go.Goodluck to John and dogs,if they make it.

John's ferry's booked. Weather's fine and not looking like any frost tomorrow.

Track inspection first thing but racing will only be starting 1-1.30 so plenty time for any frost to thaw.
