Npwra 4Th Championship Results 7/10/2012

Mega thanks to the NPWRA committee and the Indi folkies for all their hard work into giving us racers a great days racing.

There were some very happy and slightly tearful moments. Well done to all the winners and finalists. Especially those dogs who keep on coming 2nd ........................ boo hoo!

Also the butties from the van were summat else they were massive.

And get well soon to Lesley Meaker whose rash wasn't a result of her using a cooling ice spray on her frozen shoulder but in fact was Shingles which she has a v nasty case of. Goodness knows how she got home today because she was feeling so ill and in sooo much pain that she decided that she had to get to her doctors asap where she was diagnosed of having the worst shingles rash ever seen. (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

So that's our Lesley tucked up at home covered in pusy blisters, in dreadful pain and feeling absolutely terrible.

Just read this again and perhaps I ought to point out in case you haven't noticed that I have a very black sense of humour and I do in fact feel very sorry for Lesley and I wish her a fast and speedy recovery

Poor Lesley - sounds nasty.

I second Barbara's comments about the track, which was in excellent condition considering how wet it has been, many thanks to all at the Inde for thier hard work in preparing the ground and for making us all so welcome, also a thanks to the NPWRA committee for a well run Championship meeting.

Congratulations to all the runners, finalists and group winners, with a special well done to both Tony & Maureen with Kez and Lesley & India with Boss for gaining their NVCh titles. It was also nice to see both Cornish Tinker and Master of Light gaining their National titles after what seems like a long wait for them.

Commiserations to those that just missed out, but ran brilliantly all the same, there were some great finals with some really close finishes.
